MARC Media Group Gainesville has flipped WXJZ to The Beach 100.9. The station is designed to carry the laid-back, sunny essence of Florida’s coastline in the center of the state. The signal had previously been Classic Hits 100.9 since 2017.
The rebrand aligns WXJZ with its sister station WSBH on the Space Coast, while continuing to feature a curated classic hits format.
The Beach’s Scott Miller said, “MARC Radio is growing. We have an outstanding track record of identifying stations to acquire, then upgrading those stations to be attractive to both listeners and marketing partners.”
