National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) headquarters in Washington, D.C.The National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Fund on Thursday launched the Future Leaders Fund, which aims to support the foundation's mission of creating a more-diverse, innovative and vibrant workforce in the industry. The Radio Advertising Bureau's National Radio Talent System has relaunched its Missouri Broadcasters Association talent institute at Lindenwood University. The talent institute is being underwritten by Hubbard Radio and MBA. [read more]

The Conclave board has announced dates for Conclave 45. The conference will take place in Minneapolis from Tuesday, June 20 – Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Conclave is a conference that focuses on programmers, talent, and managers.  [read more]



Country Radio Seminar is offering a $249 day pass for CRS 2023, which are limited to two per person. CRS also says the Digital Music Summit will return, with admission included in regular registration and available to purchase with a day pass. [read more]



Acclaimed actor Tom Hanks is taking over a Pittsburgh public radio station on Thanksgiving Day. For 11 hours, WYEP 91.3 FM will curate songs hand-picked by Hanks, interspersed with his commentary on music history. [read more]

SiriusXM's Stitcher was the top podcast platform according to the October Triton Digital Podcast Ranker. Stitcher came in with nearly 59.8 million average weekly downloads and 15.5 million average weekly users. [read more]



Oswaldo Díaz and reVolver Podcasts are launching a new podcast focused on the 2022 World Cup tournament. The show will see Díaz, as his character Eranzo, travel to Qater, where he will offer his insight and commentary on the World Cup. [read more]

SiriusXM announced a refreshed app and website for its streaming service on Thursday. The refresh includes user interface improvements, better content grouping and a greater emphasis on on-demand audio like podcasts and show replays. [read more]
