With revenue of $201.7 million in the first quarter of 2021, Cumulus saw its revenue decrease 11.5% from 2020, which had revenue of $228 million. Podcasting was the bright spot, increasing 35%, although the exact dollar figure was not released. [read more]



Pro wrestling podcaster Conrad Thompson is in the lineup for the upcoming How to Make Real Money Podcasting conference. The Radio Ink virtual conference is set for July 13-15. [read more]

Kansas City radio personality Skid Roadie is retiring after 23 years on Kansas City Classic Rocker KCFX-FM. All in, Roadie has been on the air for 42 years, 41 in Kansas City. His last day on the air will be May 28th. [read more]



El Dorado Broadcasters' KATJ-FM in Victor Valley, California has hired Ginny Harman as Midday air personality. Harman began her career in Cleveland, and in her 25 years on the air, has worked in Nashville, Phoenix Milwaukee, Austin and Los Angeles. [read more]
