Radio Headlines For Monday 05-17-21

The IAB has released its annual Podcast Advertising Revenue Study which projects the industry will see $2 billion in ad revenue by 2023. Ron Robinson, who worked for WJR for 20 years, started interviewing for the documentary in 2013. He tells The Voice, the documentary is a chronological look at the history of radio, starting with the first radio stations. Radio One and WBT AM/FM host Bo Thompson have reached a multi-year agreement. The morning host is a Charlotte native who has spent nearly his entire 30 year career at the station. [read more]
