The NAB came out punching Wednesday, slamming GeoBroadcast's plan to modify the FCC's FM booster rule that would allow limited geo-targeted programming and advertising. The NAB says if approved, both advertising rates and revenue will go down and minority and female owned stations will be hit hard. [read more]

Digital revenues were a bright spot in 2020 for pandemic blighted radio ad revenues. Borrell Associates has been watching digital trends for nearly 20 years. The 9th Annual Benchmarking Report for the RAB shows digital revenue is expected to grow 18 percent. [read more]
 
Beasley Media Group's fourth quarter 2020 revenue of $68.5 million was down 5% ($3.6 million) from Q4 2019. And that's good news when compared to 2020's third quarter which was down 25% and 2nd quarter, down over 50%. [read more]
