That's the message from the team at GeoBroadcast Solutions who are unhappy that the group calling itself Broadcasters for Limited Program Origination is attempting to latch onto its proposal at the FCC. [read more]
 
 
The Broadcasters for Limited Program Origination have responded to the GeoBroadcast group for criticizing their FCC application to target programming via FM translators. They say the GeoBroadcast Solutions attack was unfortunate and substantively wrong. [read more]
 
This will come as no surprise as most everyone reading this is actually living it. BIA is reducing its 2020 Ad Revenue forecast down, from $14.3 billion to $12.8 billion. If that figure becomes a reality radio revenue would have decreased 10.7% from the final 2019 numbers. [read more]
 
2020 will be the 50th season for Bob Uecker calling Milwaukee Brewers games on the radio. He started back in 1971. Uecker is at increased risk for COVID-19 because he's 86 with some health issues. [read more]

Marc Hochman has signed a new multi-year contract extension with Entercom Miami sports talker WAXY-AM. Hochman and Channing Crowder host the 2-6 afternoon drive show on WAXY. They are also simulcast on WQAM-AM from 3-6. [read more]
