Hometown Broadcasting in Wisconsin announced on its website that a tragic kayaking accident over the weekend took the life of Tami McCauley, who listeners knew as Lexi Young.
McCauley was kayaking with her sister Saturday afternoon on the Mecan River when something went wrong and she drowned. Witnesses at the scene performed CPR, however, The Marquette County Coroner pronounced her dead at the scene.
The accident is still under investigation.
